My Story

I’m taking on the challenge of running the Brighton Marathon to raise money for Steps Charity, an organisation that means the world to my family.

My youngest son, Rowan, was born with unilateral talipes (clubfoot), and from the very beginning we found ourselves navigating appointments, treatments, and a whole new understanding of what life might look like for him. Through that journey, Steps has been a constant source of support, guidance, and reassurance. They provide vital information and a sense of community to families facing similar challenges, reminding us that we are never alone.

This marathon is more than just 26.2 miles for me, it’s a way to give back to a charity that has made a real difference in our lives and in the lives of so many others. Every step I take is for Rowan, and for every child and family supported by Steps.

If you’re able to donate, share, or simply cheer me on, it would mean so much. Together, we can help Steps continue their incredible work supporting children with lower limb conditions and the families who love them.
